About Me
At the very beginning of my own fitness journey, I was overweight, unfit, had joint problems, and was battling depression. I knew I needed a change, so I signed up for a session with a local fitness instructor and immediately became hooked.
After improving my fitness and mental health, I knew I wanted to help others achieve their goals, so I signed up for a personal training course and eventually went on to complete my Master’s degree at Solent University.
Even while on my course, I constantly compared myself to others who were fitter and stronger than I was. I’d never be able to lift weights that heavy or run that fast; what was I thinking?
But despite the self-doubt, I threw myself into it and came out the other side fitter, healthier, and with a much better mindset. I realised that everyone starts somewhere – there will always be the first squat, the first bench press, even the first jog – and that’s the founding principle of Prosapien Fitness. Whether you’re on day 1 or 100, our team is here to help you.
