The Advantages of Private Group Training Sessions

If you find that self-directed training at the gym isn’t achieving the results you want or that the idea of a one-to-one personal trainer is too overwhelming – or potentially too expensive – you may find the middle ground you are looking for in private group fitness training. Sessions are kept deliberately small in terms of numbers. This means that while you have company and the motivation that comes from being a part of a group when you exercise, there is still plenty of opportunity for your trainer to give you individualised attention, a personalised workout and one to one advice when needed.

And that’s what also sets private group fitness training apart from group exercise classes – in the latter, a large number of students follow broadly the same instructions given by a trainer. Whether you keep up or not, whether you’re doing the exercises correctly or whether each of the sessions is tailored to your individual needs and wants is very much up to you. But in a private group, you can expect personal coaching to ensure you’re getting the maximum benefit from each session.
